Cairns Concert Orchestra

String players! Cairns Concert Orchestra welcomes adult string players to join. Weekly rehearsals occur 7.30pm Mondays at the Eisteddfod hall Greenslopes Street.

The Cairns Concert Orchestra Inc. is an independently operated organisation of which Cairnsbands is proud to be affiliated.

The Cairns Concert Orchestra is a community string orchestra in Cairns, Queensland. Three or four concert programs are performed each year, often with a guest vocalist or instrumentalist.

Playing a wide variety of music from baroque works, to chamber music, to light classical, to popular. The orchestra's goal is to promote community involvement in music-making and to encourage the performance and appreciation of live music.

The orchestra rehearses on Monday nights from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Cairns District Junior Eisteddfod Hall on Greenslopes Street, Edge Hill.
